HOW TO USE (INDIVIDUAL)

  • 1. Download & Set up

    Download the Hard Shoulder App from the Apple App-Store or Google Play-store and create an account. You will need to enter your vehicle reg as well as confirm the suggested tyre sizes by checking your tyres. If need be, there is an option to override the suggested sizes.

  • 2. Request a Service

    Open the app and select the service you need. The options shown will be Mobile Tyres or Vehicle Recovery.

  • 3. Connect with a service provider

    The app will automatically connect you to the nearest service provider. The service provider will review your request and provide you with a quote.

  • 4. Review & Pay

    Review the service providers quote and pay through the app using either Apple Pay/Google Wallet or with a debit/credit card.

  • 5. Job begins

    The service provider will make their way to you to carry out the job. You will be able to track their arrival and see an estimated arrival time.

HOW TO USE (SERVICE PROVIDER)

  • 1. Download & Set up

    Download the Hard Shoulder App from the Apple App-Store or Google Play-store and create an account. You will need to follow the onscreen instructions and have access to things like your drivers licence and insurance certificate.

  • 2. Await Approval

    Our team will review your details and submitted documents and either approve you or ask for further documents if any are missed.

  • 3. Get Approved and Go Live

    Once you are approved, it is as simple as pressing the toggle button from offline to online and this will allow you to start receiving jobs closest to you.

  • 4. Review Job

    Once a job card comes through to your phone, you will review the details and submit a price to the customer all through the app. You can also use the chat button should you need any clarification on job requirements.

  • 5. Customer Accepts & Job Begins

    Once you have submitted your price for the job, this will reflect on the vehicle owners app and once they accept the job will go live and you can begin making your way to the customer.

HOW TO USE (Car Dealer or Insurance Company)

  • 1. Set up

    Visit our Web-App on your desktop and create an account based on your company type. The options will be Car Dealer or Insurance Company.

    As a company you will need the services for many different vehicles so unlike an individual user, you will not have a primary car listed on your account but rather you will input vehicle details as and when you need to request a service.

  • 2. Request a Service

    Login and select the service you need. For a Car Dealer, the options shown will be Dealer Transport or Mobile Tyres. For an Insurance company, you will see only ‘Vehicle Recovery’

  • 3. Connect with a service provider

    The system will automatically connect you to the nearest service provider. The service provider will review your request and provide you with a quote.

  • 4. Review & Pay

    Review the service providers quote and pay through the app using either Apple Pay/Google Wallet or with a debit/credit card. Insurance companies will be be invoiced on a 30-day basis.

  • 5. Job begins

    The service provider will make their way to you to carry out the job. You will be able to track their arrival and see an ETA.
